Outside Fun

Chloe got a tricycle from "NaNa" for her birthday, and she loves to play with it. We are really trying to teach her how to pedal, but she would prefer to just sit on it and be pushed around. She does not want to work for it, she wants to relax and enjoy it! Here she is playing on her tricycle on a beautiful April day!

Maybe this summer she will learn to pedal by herself. Maybe not! Why would she if she knows that K and I will continue pushing her. She is such a joy,

"Pink Toes Mommy"

Chloe saw my nail polish, and she decided that she wanted to play with the nail polish.  She was so cute.  I asked her if she wanted "pink toes" and she shook her head "YES" so fast that she could not stand it!  So, I put a towel down on the kitchen floor and started the talk.  It went something like this.....

"Baby, if you want mommy to paint your toes pink you have to be really, really still.  If you move it will get all over your clothes, and your toes will not be pink.  This is going to be so much fun, so be really still baby.  Mommy loves you!"

Secretly, I just knew that there was going to be nail polish all over the place, but I did not care because this might have been one of the highlights with my daughter!  I could not wait to paint her toes, and I know that K is dreading the day he has to pay for 2 pedicures, rather than one!

So here is the princess waiting patiently to begin her pedicure.

After we started she got so excited, and just kept laughing and yelling "PINK TOES MOMMY!!!" And then she would say "Mommy Pink Toes and Chloe Pink Toes." It was so much fun. The pink was so light that you could barely see it, but it made her happy. And....it made me happy! She was still most of the time, and looked adorable when she saw it on her toes. She thought she was SO pretty. And she was! Here is the final product. Not perfect, but she loved it!

I hope that Chloe wants to have "PINK TOES" the rest of her life. Because when she is older she will always have someone to go with her to get a pedicure, and lucky for her, she will always have someone to pay for it!

Tax Day Tea Party

Here is my baby with her sign that she held at her first protest! We attended the Tea Party in Hendersonville this evening! She had fun.....I think! She liked the sign at least!

She is so darn cute!

Easter Sunday

WARNING....there are going to be A LOT of pictures on this post!  I hope that everyone had a Happy Easter.  Chloe had another busy day. We started off the day going to church, and then over to K's grandmother's to eat.

Here are pictures of my family before church.

We ate breakfast at K's grandmother's house, and then instead of having the traditional "Egg Hunt" we drew names for eggs! Chloe loved it when her name was drawn and she got to pick eggs out of the basket. She got $13 to put in her bank account. Here she is with her money. She fell asleep on the way home, and she would NOT let go of her cash!

After we headed home, and took a nap, we went to "Maw Maw" and "Paw Paw's" house for dinner and an egg hunt. Here are many of my favorite pictures from the night.

Seriously, I have about 200 adorable pictures of my baby, BUT, I will not post them all on here! I am telling you, every day gets better with her in our lives!

Brunch with the Bunny

Today was a big day from Chloe!  She woke up EARLY, which was not really part of the plan, and she had a busy agenda!

First of all, she had to hit the pool.  Chloe started taking swimming lessons last week, and I will post those pictures later on tonight or tomorrow.  And I am just going to go ahead a brag on my girl, because she is the best kicker in her class by far!

After swimming we headed to see the bunny. Here are some shots she posed for before we left the house. She was SO excited on getting to see the Easter Bunny. And I was just as excited for her.

K and I were not so sure of how she was going to react this year to the Easter Bunny. We thought she might be a little bit scared. NOPE! She loved him. She sat in his lap, and smiled from time to time. Here she is with the bunny.

After we met the Easter Bunny, we headed to another egg hunt! Chloe was so excited she was having a hard time waiting until it was actually time to start the hunt. She did not understand that she was supposed to stand on the sidewalk until they told her she would start!

Here she is in action. Really she is a pro now!

Yeah, you are right....there is not much action. I may have over exaggerated. You see, for some reason they put 4 and under in the same area. I mean, I do not want to sound like a complainer, BUT, 4 year olds are MUCH BIGGER than 2 year olds. I mean they were killing her! She did get 4 eggs, and she was happy with that, but I was a little upset. I am just saying this last thing......I was pointing out some eggs to Chloe, and some 4 year old brat came up right in front of me and snatched them all up! I am not bitter though. She had fun, and that is all that matters.

So, then we headed in to have some brunch. After brunch, we got a ladybug balloon bracelet made for Chloe, and snapped some photos of her! Here are some from her big day.

When we got home, Chloe went straight to bed. She was worn out. I headed out for a manicure and pedicure. It was wonderful. When I got home, I cooked dinner, and then we dyed Easter eggs. Chloe loved putting stickers on them. I Found some bunny panties in Chloe's room, so she put those on and we headed outside for her to pose with one of her eggs she dyed and put stickers on. Here she is posing. How cute is that bunny on her booty?

So Happy Easter everyone! Tomorrow is another day of hunting for Chloe!

Easter Party

On Thursday Chloe had her Easter Egg hunt at her school.  She was so cute hunting eggs with all of her friends from school.  In fact, her friends would run and pick up eggs and bring them back to her....it was so cute!  She has people working for her at such a young age.  What a successful entrepreneur!

So, here are some pictured from her Easter festivities at school!

Here she is getting a little bit of sugar to gain some energy before the hunt!

She did not have her Easter basket with her so we settled for a Kohl's sack. I thought if I brought her monogrammed Easter basket to school that it may be a bit overboard! I mean....she does not want to be the ONLY one with an adorable monogrammed bunny Easter Bunny basket. I mean come on, an plastic sack is SO much better!

Here are some cute pictures of Chloe in the hunt. I'm telling you.....she is really good at hunting eggs. JUST DO NOT OPEN THEM!! SHE DOES NOT WANT HER EGGS OPEN!! "SHUT IT MOMMY". That is what she would tell me when I would open her eggs.

And since we were outside, she decided to cook up some rocks for me! Yummy!

And here are just a few sweet pictures of my egg hunter!

HAPPY HUNTING!

New Hair Do

I decided to change up Chloe's hairstyle!  I think she looks adorable with both styles of pigtails, however, K likes them on top of her head better.

Forgive me for the quality of the photo....it was taken with my cell phone!

No matter what looks better, we both agree that any type of hairstyle looks best when perfectly accessorized with big matching bows!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well I had my birthday.  Another year down!  I had to go to work, and then we headed to Kabuto steakhouse.  Chloe loved watching them cook at the hibachi grill.  Here are some pictures of my baby on my 28th birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Glad I got to spend some time with K and Chloe!
