Cool Down in the Heat

Chloe knows just how to cool down in the heat!


It has been so miserable and hot here that the pool is not really that comfortable, but someone does not really seem to mind that much!


She has been having so much fin this summer, and I am so happy! I have really enjoyed the extra time I have had to take her swimming!




She is just growing so fast!!

Father's Day Party

Chloe had a Father's Day party at school that K got to go to! They made ice cream sundaes. I think K was so excited about this, but he did not act like he was. However, I know him well enough to know that these thinks make his heart melt! He did not take the camera with him, but they made ice cream sundaes and she made him a picture with puzzle pieces that said "I LOVE YOU TO PIECES!"

That morning I let Chloe pick her own clothes out, and this is what she picked out! How fitting, she picked her "Wild About Daddy!" shirt! Before we left for school she said that she needed to take some pictures for her daddy's party.





Then she wanted to blow him kisses....




And lastly, she wanted to show who she is WILD ABOUT....



I am pretty sure she loves her daddy!

Dress Rehearsal

We had a busy day on the 15th, but the most exciting thing that happened was that K and I got to go and see Chloe at dress rehearsal for her dance recital. I am going to be honest and say that I was not a good photographer! If there ever was a time that I needed to be it was for this, but I wasn't because I was watching her. I am SO SORRY!

K did get it on video, but I have yet to figure out how to upload it to the computer, so he is working on that, and then we will post it. Here are 5 pictures I took. Yes, 5....that's it.

She was SO STINKING SUTE!!!







I was very impressed that she did some of the dance. I thought she would have some stage fright, and she did, but she was so cute. K and I agree that it was money well spent because she LOVES to dance. We cannot wait until next year!! I will post video when I figure it out!

Little Miss Trouble

Chloe MAY or MAY NOT HAVE gotten into some trouble during her nap......

Chloe was SUPPOSED to be taking a nap, and she sweet talked her way into taking a nap in our bed. Well, K went in there to check on her and she was completely under the covers! He went just to make sure she was sleeping and when he lifted the covers up he identified some evidence. The red sharpie was in her hand!

Before she got a spanking, or a scrubbing in the bath tub, we had to get this picture. Look how sad she looks! I think she was just sad she got caught! I mean seriously, did she think she wouldn't? That marker stained her belly for weeks! She kept saying, "Look Mommy, I have red boobies!!!"

My Little Model

K's cousin recently took some pictures of Chloe, and they were amazing. Yes, I know I am biased, but just see for yourself! Chloe had so much fun taking pictures, and it shows. Most of them were taken on the streets of Downtown Nashville!







And then it was time for a wardrobe change. Because, all models need more than one outfit at a photo shoot!





And since you may be wondering, because it definitely looks this way.....NO, she does not have lipstick on! Can't believe how red her sweet lips are!!
