Chloe's 1st Dentist Appointment

Chloe was so excited about going to the dentist for the first time. Honestly, I thought that she would freak out, but she proved me wrong. We went to the cutest pediatric dentist. When you walked in there was a huge playroom and there were a bunch of arcade games for Chloe to play with. I thought that this would be the best place for K to go as well because of all the games. He is almost 30 and still fears the dentist!

Here is Chloe waiting to be called back. She is just killing time with a game!

When they called us back Chloe was so excited. When we got to her table she got to pick out a movie to watch. She picked out Nemo. Then the dental assistant came over and talked to Chloe. She was so excited, and was such a good girl when she was getting her teeth cleaned. She told everyone that she wanted to get sparkly, shiny teeth like "Cinlella" (Cinderella). And then she would say, "No...teeth like Snow White." Basically, she just wanted princess teeth. Here she is being a good girl while getting her teeth cleaned.

Because she was so good she got to pick out a toy. She chose a lion mask. She also picked out a new toothbrush.

Then it was time for Dr. Taylor to come and check Chloe out.

He said that Chloe's teeth look great, with great spaces. He even made her a member of the "Cavity Free Club!" Here she is wearing her ribbon proudly!

We will see how her next dentist appointment goes. Will it always be this easy?

3 Year Check-Up

I took Chloe to her 3 year checkup, and everything turned out perfect. I was surprised when they did the vision test and the hearing test on her. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous that she would not cooperate, but she did okay. She LOVED the hearing test and she got all of them right, but she did not show any interest in the vision test. Dr. E said that only 15% of 3 year olds do any of them, so I was pleased that she at least did one!

Here she is playing her game, also known as the hearing test.

After she was done with her tests we headed over to the scales. I could not wait to see how much she weighed. She is just getting to be so big, and I just knew she was going to have a HUGE jump. Chloe weighed 33 pounds and she was 37 inches tall.

She had so much fun waiting on the doctor! She read book after book, and smiled for a picture! Here is the happy three year old!

Dr. E came in and said that Chloe looked perfect. We could not have asked for a better report!

3 Year Old Fun!

Chloe had a very busy birthday, and it did not start off great. Every morning when she gets up she gets in my bed and watches cartoons. Does she look happy to you?

She told me that she did not want to be three. She wanted to be one! Well baby, I wish I was still 22 with no grey hair, but we don't always get what we want! You are a beautiful 3 year old thought. Once she accepted her new age, things got better. She decided to proudly display her age!

And then we went to a birthday breakfast at Chick-fil-A.

Before we ate she said the blessing. She said "Jesus, thank you, for my food, and the snow, and my friends, and my daddy, and daddy, and daddy, and daddy, and daddy, and daddy, and Chloe, and Mommy, and daddy." Nice....K gets lots of praise, and I am just mentioned out of pity!

After breakfast we went to school. She was so excited because she knew that she was having a Birthday Party at school. At 2:45 I took cupcakes for her to share with her friends. She wanted pink cupcakes with sprinkles. What my baby wants, my baby gets!

And her friends sang her "Happy Birthday!" She loved her school party.

Then Chloe took it upon herself to set up a photo shoot for her classmates. She has gotten really good at this. She told everyone where to sit, and even pulled chairs up for them! Too Funny!

Notice she placed herself front and center!

Then she took pictures with her teachers. Here she is with Miss Dawn.

And Miss Maghen!

After her school party we headed home to have Granny and Papa, Me Maw and PawPaw over for dinner. I made spaghetti and meatballs, caesar salad, garlic toast, and birthday cakes. Here are some pictures from the night!

She got Baby "Squeakies" with a stroller, a "Squeaky" ball, and lots of art supplies! I think we have one happy Birthday Girl!

Valentine's Day 2010

With Chloe's Birthday being SO close to Valentine's Day, we don't really celebrate Valentine's Day anymore. Now don't get me wrong, we did go to dinner and a movie on Friday night, so we celebrated a little early! And guess what? I do not have any pictures of our Valentine's Date, but we did eat at Carraba's and saw Valentine's Day. It was a cute movie!

And guess what I got?

A whole lot (7 dozen) of roses, mixed with red and white carnations! They were so pretty!

Anyway, we went out to brunch on Valentine's day with K's grandmother, aunt, cousins, and parents to celebrate Chloe's birthday and PawPaw's birthday. PawPaw's birthday is coming up, so we just combined them! Here we are with K's grandmother!

And here is Chloe playing with her money!

I have never seen a 3 year old love money like she does. She also got Hi Ho Cherry-O too!

Here are some other pictures of her on the morning of Valentine's Day. K and I gave her a new pink Zhu Zhu pet, which she also named "Squeaky". Now we have 5 "Squeakies!"

I think she got that frog last year, but decided she wanted him in the pictures too. If you look closely, you can see the "Squeaky" on her dress!

Happy Valentine's Day!
