Snowmen Family

Well, the snow was perfect to make a family of snowmen. What I discovered is that I am not very good at making them! But, K and Chloe are. The "baby" snowman looked more like a blob....and guess who did it? Me!! I am embarrassed to admit it, but I did!

Here is K and Chloe hanging out!

And here are the Snowmen!

Don't judge the baby snowman!

Snow Day!

**I have no idea why the pictures are like this....just read and look at the pictures, the format is off. SORRY!**

Well, it happened. We finally got snow. I was so happy. When K and I got married he said, "Hendersonville gets one good snow every year!" I have lived her almost 7 years, and guess what?? This is the FIRST big snow we have gotten!

By the way, K says he never said that, but he did! So, now that we have snow, I have about 300 pictures of Chloe's fun in the snow! K went out and bought a sled. In fact, I think he got one of the last big sleds in Hendersonville. He looked all over, and finally found one, the last one, at Ace Hardware! Lucky for us, he got there in time.

Here is Chloe as soon as we got her outside....

The K took her sledding, or "snowing" as she calls it!

A little later, some of our friends came over to sled, play in the snow, and eat chili and grilled cheese sandwiches. We live on a golf course, so we had the ideal place to go sledding....apparently everyone else thinks so too. It looked like a mini ski resort! Look at the line of people to sled!

So, here is Chloe, Annalee, and Lesley before their big snow day!

Here is K pulling the girls up to the top of the golf course....where the good snowing is happening!

But, half way up the hill, K realized it was very hard to pull to girls...so Annalee went to her daddy! And off they went!

Chloe is saying...."Let's go daddy!"

And off they go!

Here is Annalee and Chloe having fun together....they are best friends!

And K got some air when he wend down the hill. Everyone that saw was like....."oooooooh, he got air!" K was so pround of himself.

Chloe was ready to go again!

So they are set.....

And they go....

And they rest....

Annalee and Chloe decided to go and make themselves a snack!

And baby Lesley was snug in her mommy's arms!

Annalee then taught Chloe how to make snow angels! It was so cute.

Don't ask me what K was doing here...

The girls got one final sled before lunchtime...and they got to go by themselves!

It was a fu, fun day. Maybe in 10 years we will get another!

Birthday Fun

After our fun snow day, Chloe got to go to her friend's birthday party. Kinley Rose was turning 3, and she had her party at My Gym. This was our first party to attend at My Gym. And, it did not disappoint!

Here is Chloe and Kinley playing together!

Chloe loved playing in the balls. When she was 9 months old, she took classes at My Gym, and the balls were her favorite then too!

During circle time, Kinley Rose was giving Chloe a back rub!

The birthday girl surprised everyone on her Harley!

Here is a group shot of all the kids!

After cake, Chloe made her way to the trampoline, and loved it!

Here is all the kids playing games, and pretending to be asleep!

And what is a party without a bubble machine?

We were happy to be invited to Kinley's party!

Birthday Planning!

Well, it's that time of year! I can hardly believe that Chloe is turning 3. It is so bittersweet. And guess what? I THINK she is potty trained. I mean, I know that it is time for her to be, but she does things on her own schedule. But, I am pretty sure that this time is for real!

So I will be updating regularly with party plans. First off, here is the theme!

And here is her attire!

And yes, her name will be monogrammed on the dress! I am not crazy!

I'm Back.....again!

I just cannot stay current on my blog lately. It is harder that I thought. However, this time, I do have an excuse. I think it is a good excuse, but you can decide for yourself.

For those of you who do not know, I hurt my neck. I thought I maybe had just slept wrong, or pulled some muscles. NOT SO MUCH! I went to the doctor to find out I had a herniated disc, AND some nerve damage. And to make it better, my only option was surgery because of the nerve damage. And in case you are wondering, I do not know how I did this. I can make up a story if you want me to though.

Anyway, my surgery was scheduled for Jan. 11. The Friday before I started feeling under the weather. The day of, I started planning my funeral. I went to my family doctor to discover that I had mono. Thanks. Thanks so much for the good news. Needless to say, surgery was postponed.

During my week of death, I got a virus in my mouth, a cough that I am pretty sure made me crack my rib, and an ingrown fingernail that got infected. And if you are laughing, let me tell you......my finger was NOT pretty!

So welcome Jan. 18. I was checking into the hospital to have my surgery no matter what. My surgeon was going to have to come in and tell me, "I am so sorry Heather, but if we operate on you, chances are very likely that you will die." That would have made me consider postponing again. You know, because I have a 2 year old daughter and a husband that like having me around, sometimes!

But....he didn't say that. Instead he almost cancelled my surgery because of my ingrown fingernail. Imagine that. But, after a few strength tests, he realized he could not wait any longer and off to the OR I went. An hour later, I was on the road to recovery.

So, with that said, can you forgive me for being lazy with my blog? If not, I will show you my incision across my throat and see if you will re-think your decision.

On another note...I will continue updating my blog. I am working backwards, so I will have one more post from Christmas, and then will start January.

Jesus Loves Me

Chloe wore her "Jesus Loves Me" dress to church recently, and she LOVED it. She thought that it was so cute, and she was singing "Jesus Loves me" all morning long. She also wanted to take A LOT of pictures before we went to church, and I am not going to pass up an opportunity if she WANTS to take pictures.

Here is my sweet girl.....

Notice her "Squeaky" in one of the pictures. He wanted to take a picture too!

And guess who else she wanted to take a picture with?

ME!!!

Happy New Year!

I thought I would share a cute picture of Chloe and Pooh. This was their first bath together of 2010 and she really wanted a picture of it!

K, however, was in no mood to be photographed!

Rudy was cooperating though. He is just getting so old!

We had a traditional dinner on New Year's Day. You know, the stuff you HAVE TO HAVE unless you want to have a miserable year..... Hog Jowl, Black-Eyed Peas, Cabbage, Cornbread, and mashed potatoes!

I am not so sure that Chloe loved dinner!

And I did make some Rotel because of the football games we were watching....Yummy!

New Year's was pretty uneventful for us, but it was nice to be lazy at home!
