Happy Early Birthday "Daddy"

Yesterday was the last day that we had at home with K before he left for another 2 weeks.  This is his last time away for a while...hopefully.  Because he is going to be gone on his birthday, we had his family over for dinner last night to celebrate.  So as soon as we got up yesterday morning, Chloe and I had work to do.

First thing....cleaning.  Chloe is the best helper in the world.  All she wanted to do was sweep, and she was so cute that I did not even get mad when she knocked things off of tables.

After all of the cleaning, Chloe needed some play time. She dragged her ball popper out and played until she got tired of chasing the balls all over the house.

Well, then she was really worn out! She looked so precious after she dragged her pillow and her blanket into the living room to lay down and watch me clean.

After her nap K decided to go and have some fun with her at the park! The went to feed the ducks, which she loved until they all came over to her at once. Then she really freaked out!

Then she decided to take a stroll on the bridge.

After her "Daddy and Me" day at the park, she needed another rest so that she would be ready to hosts her daddy's birthday dinner! Here she is resting while she watched Dora before her nap.

K picked out her baseball clothes to play at the park in....he did not was her all pretty in pink! But hey, I think that she is pretty in anything she has on!

Finally it was time for the party. Chloe was dressed and waiting for her guests to arrive! This is what we put on the door welcoming everyone to our house!

And her she is waiting anxiously for everyone to get to our house.

After dinner, we had ice cream cake, and Chloe LOVED it. I had to cut her off though, she was really enjoying it!

Then, it was time for K to open presents. Chloe loved helping him tear the paper!

We had fun at K's birthday dinner. Chloe went to bed after presents were opened. Before everyone left we took one picture when K's parents. We should have thought to do this before Chloe went to bed, and I was not going to wake her up, so we will take another picture at another time!

We miss you already K!
