My Favorite Guitar Heroes

Those of you who are video game savvy, you know about Guitar Hero!  We have gone from the original Guitar Hero, to Rock Band, and now we own Guitar Hero Aerosmith edition!  I love Aerosmith.  So here are a few pictures of K rocking out to a little bit of Aerosmith!

Cute Little Dress!

Hey Ya'll!  This is very short post, I just wanted to post a picture of the dress I just made Chloe.  It is pretty cute if I do say so myself.....and it only cost $8.00!!

American Beauty

Well....as promised, today was another celebration! This morning Chloe woke up at 7:30 AM. She was worn out from the partying the night before and decided that at 8:15, she needed to go back to bed, until 11:15! During the 45 minutes that I got to play with her, she decided to try and remember what it was like to be a tiny baby! She was playing in her bouncy seat with her baby doll. Looking at these pictures it is so funny to see how big she has gotten, and how much she has changed.

Anyway, after her morning nap, we headed to some friends house to eat!  We had to get her festive gear on, and even though it may have been a bit snug, she looked so cute!  By golly, she was wearing that cheerleading uniform!  She wore it last year when it was huge on her, and I wanted her to get one more wear out of it.  The skirt was fine, the top......not so much!  

When we got to the Sanders house to eat, Chloe happily sat on the ground and scarfed down her hot dog and goldfish before I even took the first bite of my burger. She is a growing young girl!!

When we got home, K decided to do some "Daytime" fireworks, and Chloe could have done without all the crackling. Here he is lighting the fireworks, and I am in the background nagging that we are too close to our neighbors house. I am sure you can imagine his reaction to my nagging!

After the "Daytime" fireworks, Chloe needed a nap, and so did I. But, guess what? After dinner this is what we had waiting for us!

The good thing about living on a golf course is that we have lots of open space to display our fireworks. Here is Chloe and her bitty baby getting ready for the big show!

And, our fireworks could not be complete without Chloe having a little bit of fun of her own.....

I AM JUST KIDDING! She just held it for a photo. Do not call Child Protective Services on me! I did not let my 16 month old shoot fireworks. I just thought about it......just kidding!

Happy 4th!

Independence Day......weekend!

Remember the Good 'Ol Days when we were growing up and you had to walk 2 miles to school barefoot in the snow.....up hill both ways?  Back then, we celebrated the 4th of July on 4th of July.  Imagine that!  Those were the days!  But Chloe will live a different life.  She will grow up celebrating the 4th of July on the 3rd of July.  And if she is really lucky maybe again on the 4th of July!  SO....this is how our day went.  Chloe went to school today dressed as a "Redneck American", and yes, she is proud of it!


K told me that she could not wear this outfit out tonight, because she looked like a redneck with a mullet, I agreed, and the rest is history.....just like the Declaration of Independence! While Chloe went to school, I went shopping with Ashley, and then I picked Chloe up and went swimming. I thought that I would take her swimming for a couple of hours, then let her sleep a while before we went back to the pool for the 3rd of July festivities.


And you can see in this picture she had a boom box with her at the pool, cause there is nothing better than soaking up the rays with Disney Princess music blaring. It is how Chloe gets her groove on! After nap time, we headed back to the pool. This time K graced us with his presence. We had fun. We ate, played, danced, and then went to watch fireworks.

They had a slide at the pool that K took Chloe down. She was not so sure what she thought about it, but at least she did it once.



After the slide we went to play in the pool. Decked out in her festive bathing suit, she was of course.....adorable. Here she is with her daddy in the pool, having a ball.


After swimming, she went to listen to the live band, and she learned to snap. She was just staring at the band. At one point, the entire band was facing her playing music, and she was loving it! I mean, it could be that they were playing for her because nobody else cared about them, but I choose to think it is because she was the cutest! And......the only one paying attention them.

Then it was time for ice cream. K took me and Chloe to Marble Slab, and then it was off to watch the fireworks. We were not really sure how she would react to the fireworks this year. Last year, she was so little, she just stared at them. This year she loved them. We went to the 18th green and met some of our friends, spread out some blankets, and watched the show. Chloe was so cute, staring, clapping, and pointing. Her daddy is going to get some for tomorrow to shoot off for her, so that we can celebrate the REAL 4th of July!

I sat this on Lane and Jamie's Blog and wanted to see how accurate it is.  By the looks of things, not so accurate.  We all know that Chloe looks just like K, so this is funny to see how the meter worked.  What do you think?

What can I say? She is a genius!

Well....all of you who laughed at me about buying the potty, guess what???  She pee pee'd in the big girl potty last night!  I was totally not expecting it, BUT when I was getting her ready for the bath tub she decided she needed to go.  She hopped on the potty, I picked her up to put her in the bath tub, and then I realized it.  SHE DID IT!!  I yelled at K to come downstairs, and we did cheers for her.  She just looked at us as smiled so big!  But tonight, that was a different story.  Oh well, last night she was feeling it, tonight she was not!
